Job Opening for Full-Time Promotions Coordinator

Job Description: Responsibilities include creating and executing events to promote the radio station and its advertisers to the public including membership events and live remote broadcasts. The Events Coordinator plans all events; assists with physical set-up and tear down of events; coordinates volunteers; maintains membership lists; manages all giveaways, writes email newsletters; posts events on the website.

Promotions Coordinator reports to the General Manager and works closely with the Sales Manager.

Qualifications: Assertive, sociable and must believe in team work. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point. Must have a car and a driver’s license in good standing in the state of Minnesota. Must be assertive, have good customer service skills, outgoing and enjoys meeting people.

Hours: Full Time position, 40 hours per week. Mostly days, but includes evenings and weekends.

Start date: April 1st, 2010

Work Location: 11320 Valley View Road, Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Wages: $30,000 annual salary.
